2 Year Anniversary Weekend!!

The Saturday before our Anniversary, we were lucky enough to be able to go to Lagoon with my family. We all went down on Friday and went to Nicks favorite restaurant, The Mayan. Unfortunately they decided to put us right in front of a giant tree, so we couldn't really see the show to well.
We decided to all stay in the same hotel room, it was a little more squishy than expected, but it made it more fun.
Me and Nick were on the pull out bed, Brianne was on the couch next to me, Imari was right in front of the door by our feet, Landon was between the TV and the bed, and poor Brylee was on the kitchen tables bench. One big sleepover.
The Next day we woke up bright and early to go to FRIGHTMARES!! who ever has not been to Lagoons Frightmares is missing out it is a lot of fun! They have four different haunted houses in the park, and at night they have different Halloween shows.

We went on a Saturday, which is normally packed, especially during frightmares! but it was a cold day so there were no lines, luckily my mom brought gloves for everyone, or else I don't think we would have made it.
The cast from one of the shows.

We all left the hotel Sunday morning and headed for home. Mine and Nick's 2nd anniversary was on that Monday. For our Honeymoon we went to Hawaii, and our 1 Year we went to Florida, so this year we decided to go to Egypy!!
Ok maybe we just stayed in the Egypt room, good enough. Our anniversary was a lot more low key this year. Nick had to work so we went to the Olive Garden, and stayed at Destinations Inn.
I love this guy so much! I cannot believe we have been married for two years!! I cant wait for many many years to come! He is my Best Friend!
I am real glad our wedding day wasn't this crappy of weather. brrr....

I cant leave out my baby Toby! luckily Nicks mom baby sat him for us,so he was in good hands. yes I said baby sat, he sure acts like one, he will not be held any other way, he likes to rest his head on your shoulder.

Our not so happy Fourth of July!

Ok I know all I blog about it Toby, but he is our full entertainment!! Our fourth of July was an interesting one.... It all started when I woke up, Toby was pushing his bowl around so I went to go fill it thinking it was empty, nope just ants everywhere!! not just ants but red ants! I went to the kitchen ants all over the counter!! I look at Toby ants all over his beard!! and to top it off Nick was not home and it was my first day of work, so I had no time to deal with the ants, so all I could do is kill them with febreze (no bug killer in the house) and call Nick and tell him to deal with it when he got home. After about 10 ant traps, and a can of raid we got that taken care of. Later that night we were headed to my parents for dinner and some fire works. Nick wanted to stop at his brothers to see some fire works, so we stopped there we were not there for more than 10 minutes when Toby jumps out of my arms and books it!! he obviously didnt like the fireworks, he is running past cars, cars are swerving, neighbor hood kids are running after him, me and Nick were trying to catch him he runs into a big open field, with tall weeds and some ditches. needless to say I was beside myself! so I go driving around, Nick and his brother are driving around my parents and brother come and are driving around. we were looking for hours!! it was just about dark, Nick and I decided to head toward his brothers house. we see a dog running Nick said thats him I said no that dog it so dark to be him.... as we get closer it was him. after blocking him in we finally caught him!
This is what he looked like, you cant tell in the pictures, but he was covered in burs, sticks, and who knows what, and definitely went for a swim!! we spent the rest of the night trying to get them out, and giving him baths. The next day I took him to the groomers to see if they could get out the rest of the burs, she said she would have to shave his stomach because she could not get them out, so I made on appointment for Friday to get the rest of his hair cut. when I went back to pick him up I could not believe my eyes not only did she shave his stomach but she shaved his two front legs, and the rest of him was long!!
These pictures dont even do justice of how funny it looked!!! my dad said it looked like he was wearing shorts with chicken legs!! but at least we got him white again.
I made sure to get this in case something like this ever happened again!!
and this is what he looked like after! little naked but alive!!

My little BIG obsession

Nick and I finally got a dog after looking for months and going back and forth on whether we should get one or not. I had been looking online and in the paper on a daily basis, I came across a shih tzu for way cheap, I was a little unsure because I had my heart set on a chug. We just decided to get him I just saw him in a pic and while I was at work Nick went and picked him up and brought this little cutie to me.
Isn't he just the cutest!!
Honestly the best purchase we have ever made, He is the cuddliest little thing, will stay small, doesn't shed HUGE bonus! so entertaining, and is so fluffy! I guess you can pretty much say I am obsessed!
Nick put him on his lap and this is where he crawled.

Yes I am one of those people who likes to dress my dog!! since we don't have any kids he can be mine for now, it is kind of fun to have something to take care of!

Birthday Boy!

It was Nick's 23rd Birthday on Tuesday, He is getting so old! :) I asked him what he wanted for his Birthday
breakfast and he said steak, eggs, and hash browns, so we decided it would be best if we just went  to Ihop. That night we went to my parents house for his birthday party. I ran to Albertson's to get some Birthday decoration. Bad idea!
I asked someone to blow me up six balloons, I swear it took him about an hour to blow them up, when he came out he only had five but I didn't even care at that point I just wanted to get back to Nick, then I noticed the two red ones were deflated as you can tell by the picture above, I asked him if they were going to float eventually and he tells me, if they don't you can just tape them to the wall....umm hello if I wanted to tape them to the wall I wouldn't buy helium balloons!! I could tell he was a little slow so I just bought my balloons, party hats, and happy birthday sign. I was pretty annoyed when I got to my parents, I hung up the sign and then later noticed its missing the Y on birthday as you can also see above, so pretty much I will never buy birthday supply from Albersons again. Then the party started.
My family gave his a movie date night for two and a year x-box live which he has been wanting for months, so he was pretty excited. My favorite gift was from "Landon" or more so the wrapping of it.
Nick unwrapped the first present and found a pad box, inside that he unwrapped a cake box with a 50 cents off of cinnamon rolls (how nice of him), inside the cake box he unwrapped a costume sewing pattern, and then finally inside that he unwrapped the actual gift which was call of duty black ops, he had been wanting that so he was very happy.
I got Nick a tool storage chest, he was is desperate need, he had some of his tools stored in a diaper box I don't know where he even got that. He also picked out some clothes for his birthday.
Haha what a good sport, I wanted to see what is would look like. We had a lot of fun, I didn't want his birthday to end I just love birthdays but we are celebrating his moms and his birthday this weekend.

Bright Sun-Shiny Florida

Nick and I were lucky enough to go to Florida for our 1 year anniversary. We had the best time, luckily this time we didn't miss our flight and our luggage wasn't lost. Our first full day in Florida we headed off to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure with our park hoppers.
and that is where we got this little beaut, we could not stop laughing about the picture.
The second day we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa bay. It started a little rocky, the first ride we went on Nick realized he lost his phone so we went back and asked if they had it, the guy asked him to identify what was on the screen on his phone, unfortunately it was the picture above haha. so we had to put his phone and my camera in our backpack outside the theme park, so we didn't get many pictures. They almost didn't let us back in because we didn't get a hand stamp when we left, but luckily they let us in. The best ride in the theme park was closed for the day so we were pretty sad about that but we still had lots of fun.

On the third day we went to Universal and Islands of adventure again.
On the fourth day we decided we wanted to take it easy and have a more relaxing day, so we decided to go to Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. They had the most interesting things there like, Beyonce made out of candy, The tallest man, the biggest and smallest chair, the biggest shirt, the fattest man, man with the biggest nose (poor thing), Mona Lisa made out of toast, a man who could sit in a oven with raw meat and sit in there while it cooked without burning, and many more random things.
On day five which was our actual anniversary, we went to Typhoon Lagoon. The funnest day we had while we were there, I don't know if its because it was our anniversary or what. When we got there they gave up two pins each, one said Happy Anniversary, and the other one said happily ever after. We bought a water proof camera and had way to much fun with it.
I have to say this was a huge deal for me, at the water park they have a snorkel section with sharks, stingray, and fish, when I came here with my family I would not do it so I was pretty proud of myself.
On our last full day we went to Universal and Islands of Adventure again!
The Harry Potter section was so awesome! The pictures don't do it justice, it just seemed so magical. It was always crazy busy in that section so we didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked.

We bought three days at the parks so we got a fourth day free, so the day we had to fly out we decided to pack in as much as we could and go to universal and Islands of Adventure again since our flight didn't leave until six that evening.

We probably went on all those rides at least 5 times each all the time we spent there, and how short the lines were. After we left we headed straight for the airport and had to come back to cold weather. We had such a great time I am so glad we decided to go!

One Wonderful Year!

Nick and I have been married for one whole year YEY!! it feels like we have been married a lot longer just because we have known each other for so long!! but man has it been an amazing year!! Nick and I were lucky enough to go to Florida for our one year anniversary. (that blog post coming soon) When we got home we decided we better break into the top of our wedding cake.
 Before....
